Egg donation

When I was little, my parents told me that my mother had had to “borrow eggs” from another woman to have me. It was a very cute story – but I don’t really remember anymore, because it wasn’t that important, I think. For me, my mother has always been my mother – even if I carry some genes that are not hers.
