Stork get-together

Every year we have a large get-together for children and parents from the same year. 

Stork-get-together is directed at the children who have begun to think about where they have come from, their family and how they were created etc. Therefore, it is primarily children from the age of 3 years who have the full benefit.  

The purpose of stork-get-togethers are:

• to celebrate the children and give them the experience of being many who come from a unique type of family created in a very special way. For the children to meet in a forum, where there are other children who e.g. do not have a father.
• that both mothers and children get the chance to make new contacts or see old networks and contacts again, people who might have similar joys and challenges in their every day lives.
• and that we all contribute a little bit to the children’s inner images, thoughts and feelings concerning “who am I?”, “Where do I come from?”. Well aware that it is the big constant question.

We look at sperm cells and show the children the clinic, we look in the tanks with frozen sperm etc.  

It is a great experience for many children to experience such a large group of children who have come into being the same way they themselves have.  

For parents stork-get-together provide yet another option of exchanging experiences, addresses or friendship with other parents.
