The dandelion and its seed

We have taken in the dandelion in all of its forms of life at StorkKlinik. 

I see the dandelion as a wonderful, beautiful plant that will sprout up through concrete if need be. Perhaps a little like StorkKlinik did in 1999, when conditions were at their worst and it was prohibited for single and lesbian women to be inseminated in a healthy responsible way in Denmark.   

When the dandelion’s blossom changes shape into seeds, I regard the seeds around the white top as sperm surrounding an egg. When the seeds with the help from the wind fly around the world I think of all the wonderful children who are born in Scandinavian and Europe after having visited us. 

- I also love to eat the tiny dandelion leafs in a salad and the yellow flowers also taste well...
